What This Dothraki Translator Does
The tool compares your input with a limited built-in fan dictionary. Recognized English entries are replaced with their stored Dothraki forms. The same input produces the same output because this is a fixed browser-based lookup rather than a generative model.
A useful result can contain both translated and untranslated words. That is expected: an unchanged word means the current dictionary has no matching entry, not that the English word is valid Dothraki.
Phrase Matching, Unknown Words and Punctuation
Known multi-word phrases are matched before individual words. For example, a supported phrase can produce one stored expression instead of translating each word separately. After phrase matching, the tool checks the remaining words one by one.
Unknown words, numbers, emoji and punctuation stay unchanged. Capitalized and all-uppercase input broadly keeps the same casing in the result. In an unknown hyphenated term, a supported part may still be translated while the unsupported part remains visible.
How Decode to English Works
To decode, turn on Decode to English and paste supported Dothraki text into the input box. The tool reverse-looks up words and phrases from the same limited table. It does not detect or correct Dothraki grammar.
Decode is not guaranteed to recreate the exact original English. Some English words share one Dothraki value, so the reverse lookup returns the first stored English match. Treat it as a vocabulary aid, not proof that a sentence is grammatically correct.
