Symbol Translator
Generate 10 Unicode symbol styles from your text, including circled, squared, fullwidth and letter emoji. Copy results; display support varies.
Use the Symbol Translator to turn ordinary Latin text into ten decorative Unicode styles. Type or paste text in the box and every preview updates automatically. Select a result to copy that exact row.
This is a deterministic character-styling tool. The same input produces the same output, and the page does not use AI or translate the meaning of words.
How to Use the Symbol Translator
- Type or paste text in the input box.
- Review the ten output rows.
- Select the row you want to copy.
- Paste it into a destination that accepts those characters.
There is no separate Generate or Translate button. Supported characters change as you type. Letters are mapped by style; unsupported characters pass through unchanged. The Letter Emoji row also inserts a thin separator between input characters so adjacent regional indicators do not combine into flag emoji.
Ten Unicode Symbol Styles and Exact Behavior
The widget currently returns ten rows in this order: Symbols 卂, Currency ₳, Bubbles, Black Bubbles, Squares, Black Squares, Letter Emoji, Aesthetic, Outline and Plain Royal. The table shows the exact output for Abcz 19!?🙂.
| Style | Exact output |
|---|---|
| Symbols 卂 | 卂乃匚乙 19!?🙂 |
| Currency ₳ | ₳฿₵Ƶ 19!?🙂 |
| Bubbles | Ⓐⓑⓒⓩ ①⑨!?🙂 |
| Black Bubbles | 🅐🅑🅒🅩 ❶❾!?🙂 |
| Squares | 🄰🄱🄲🅉 19!?🙂 |
| Black Squares | 🅰🅱🅲🆉 19!?🙂 |
| Letter Emoji | 🇦 🇧 🇨 🇿 1 9 ! ? 🙂 |
| Aesthetic | Abcz 19!?🙂 |
| Outline | 𝔸𝕓𝕔𝕫 𝟙𝟡!?🙂 |
| Plain Royal | ꧁ Abcz 19!?🙂 ꧂ |
The circled styles convert supported digits as well as letters. The square styles convert letters while the sample digits remain ordinary digits. Aesthetic uses fullwidth letters, digits and spacing. Outline uses mathematical double-struck characters. Plain Royal keeps the original text and adds ornaments around it.
What Symbol Translation Means Here
“Symbol Translator” on this page means visual text conversion, not language translation. It cannot identify symbols pasted from an image, explain the meaning of an unknown sign, decode another symbol alphabet or convert a sentence into another language.
Several rows use lookalike characters drawn from different Unicode scripts or symbol blocks. Their visual resemblance does not give them the sound or meaning of the Latin letter they replace. For background on encoded characters, see the Unicode Consortium’s What is Unicode? overview.
The results are text rather than image files or downloadable fonts. They can be copied, but appearance and support vary by font, browser, operating system, app and destination field. A missing-font box means that environment cannot draw a character. Some services also restrict which characters can be used in usernames, so check the destination’s rules.
For more options, try the Fancy Text Generator or the Text to Emoji Generator. You can also browse the Fancy Fonts collection.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Symbol Translator free to use?
Yes. The Symbol Translator is currently free to use in a modern browser and does not require account sign-up.
What does the Symbol Translator do?
It applies ten deterministic Unicode character styles to text. It changes the visual characters, not the meaning of the words.
Is this AI or language translation?
No. It uses fixed character mappings and one decorative wrapper. It does not use AI, translate languages, identify symbols or explain their meaning.
Why do some characters show as boxes?
The destination app, operating system or font may not support a character. The copied code point can still be present even when that environment shows a missing-font box.
Does the Symbol Translator work on mobile and desktop?
The browser tool can run on mobile and desktop devices, but character display and clipboard support depend on the browser, operating system, app and available fonts.
Are the outputs images or downloadable fonts?
No. The rows contain Unicode text. Plain Royal adds Unicode ornaments around the original text; the other rows map supported characters to Unicode alternatives.
Which ten styles does the Symbol Translator offer?
Symbols 卂, Currency ₳, Bubbles, Black Bubbles, Squares, Black Squares, Letter Emoji, Aesthetic, Outline and Plain Royal.
